An idea worth spreading needs a first voice, someone willing to stand in the light and say it out loud, before they know how it will land.

This year, sixteen people did exactly that.

Our deepest thanks to the speakers of Ripple Effects. Each of them brought something that could not be borrowed or manufactured: a genuine idea, shaped by their own experience and offered freely to a room full of strangers. Some had spent years arriving at what they shared. Some had never stood on a stage like this before. All of them said yes to the hardest, most generous thing a person can do, which is to make their thinking public and trust an audience to carry it forward.

A TEDx talk is not a performance. It is an act of faith. It asks a speaker to distil years into minutes, to be clear where it would be easier to be vague, and to stand behind an idea knowing not everyone will agree. Our speakers met that ask with courage and with care.

The ideas they shared no longer belong to them alone. They belong now to everyone who heard them, and to everyone those listeners will tell.

That is the quiet power of a single talk. It begins with one voice and ends in places no one can count.
