An idea can be brilliant on the page and still falter in the air. What carries it across the gap — from speaker to audience, from one mind to many — is often the person holding the room. This year, that person was two.

It asks for warmth and precision in equal measure — the ability to set a speaker at ease, to hold a transition steady, to read a room and meet it exactly where it is.

Ivy and Jacqueline did more than move us from one talk to the next. They gave the day its rhythm and its through-line. They were the steady voice between ideas, the thread that let sixteen separate messages feel like a single, continuous conversation.
